The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Tony Rojas at pick 248 is 93 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is McCoy. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The veteran additions, Travon Walker chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
