For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Panthers walked out of the weekend still thin at cornerback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

They are betting Kennard proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
