For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Patriots walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They went 1 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
