Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
Good, not great, for the Seahawks: B-. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Seahawks did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick18
Rnd1
Tyler Warren
In the Round 1 slot they get a matchup weapon at tight end. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick50
Rnd2
Xavier Watts
A tidy little value on Xavier Watts in pick No. 50, a step better than break-even. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick52
Rnd2
Demetrius Knight Jr.
By-the-book stuff, Demetrius Knight Jr. at pick 52 squarely in line with his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
