For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Panthers walked out of the weekend still thin at linebacker, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

However the rest shakes out, Robinson at that price is a win they earned. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
