The Barton value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The cost of the Horn Jr. reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
