The Browns bled value on every deal, hence the B-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Browns took J.J. Weaver a full 127 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
