More right than wrong for the Patriots, and a B- to prove it.

The Patriots did not so much draft Jaydon Blue as overpay for him, 32 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They banked enough surplus on Gray to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
