The Browns looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Hayden Conner at the 216th overall pick regardless, 38 picks early. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Rourke. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
