The Giants bled value on every deal, hence the B-. Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Giants spent pick 190 on Joshua Simon, a name the board had a full 114 spots lower. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
However the rest shakes out, Giddens at that price is a win they earned. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
