Larceny in Round 6, Pick 8 lands the Seahawks a B, Bassa and all.

Call it larceny. Jeffrey Bassa sat on the board until pick No. 183, and the Seahawks did not need to be asked twice.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
