The Browns treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending slot 217 on Barryn Sorrell a full 111 spots early.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Mondon Jr. at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. The Browns paired the rookies with proven help, Joe Alt leading the way.
