After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Broncos committed. Bo Nix is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

Horton at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
