The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Patriots reached some 64 spots for Oluwafemi Oladejo, and value like that does not grow back.

Castro falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.
