You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Vikings did exactly that with Barryn Sorrell in No. 139. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Monheim falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
