A sensible, unshowy class lands the Steelers a B-.

Priorities are a choice, and the Steelers made a strange one, taking Jackson Powers-Johnson at offensive lineman in the Round 2 slot with edge rusher, running back and other spots crying out for the pick instead.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Travis left real value on the table behind him. The Hicks value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
