The Bills put a flag in the ground for Ty Hamilton, 78 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Pierce. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. With linebacker, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
