The Warren Brinson selection is the head-turner. The Broncos reached 97 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. They banked enough surplus on Lundt to cover a lot of smaller sins.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
