You can draft well and still miss the point. The Commanders did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The Dotson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
