A respectable, level-headed haul for the Packers: B-.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Packers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Reaching for Fairchild left real value on the table behind him. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
