Best value of the weekend goes to the Bears for Williams: B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Savion Williams got past him. The Bears do not have to explain a thing at No. 149. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They are betting Turner proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
