When a board-topper like Cobee Bryant slides to the 195th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Bengals did not. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Every board in the league had Broughton lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
