You build a draft on nights like this. Cody Simon had no business being available in the 188th pick, and the Jets did the only sane thing and turned in the card. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The cost of the Barrow Jr. reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
