The Saints clearly saw something nobody else did in Connor Colby, taking him 80 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Brooks. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.

In pick 9 they get a premier pass rusher, though the board says they badly overpaid. Exactly the need they had to hit.
