The Bears torched the value chart for Jake Smith, taking him 317 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

The Turner steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
