Draft Grade — Raiders

FutureD
The Raiders let Baugh fall and pounced. Final grade: B. The Raiders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jadan Baugh, the No. 68 name on the board, in the 117th pick.
Every board in the league had Shelby lower, and that gap is the story. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Justin Jefferson deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick36
Rnd2
Ryan Coleman-Williams
A premium they did not need to pay, Ryan Coleman-Williams a notch or two before his time. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick67
Rnd3
Will Heldt
A reach on Will Heldt in pick No. 67; the board had better options right there. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick102
Rnd4
Sam Leavitt
Sam Leavitt at the 102nd overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It fills a real need, too.
Pick117
Rnd4
Jadan Baugh
Jadan Baugh in the Round 4 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick134
Rnd4
Eli Bowen
A conviction pick on Eli Bowen at the 134th pick that the board grades a round light. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick174
Rnd5
Koi Perich
Koi Perich at Round 5, Pick 36 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick180
Rnd6
Andrew Rappleyea
A big swing on Andrew Rappleyea at slot 180, well ahead of any board in the building. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick183
Rnd6
Kam Franklin
The board had cheaper options than Kam Franklin at pick 183, and it noticed. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick219
Rnd7
Braylan Shelby
They reached into another round for Braylan Shelby, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
