Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Tez Johnson, the No. 100 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 5, Pick 6. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Riley Moss deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
