Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Packers a B-.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The Packers took Isaac TeSlaa at slot 198, roughly 35 spots before his name belonged.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Walter Nolen
In the Round 1 slot they get a load in the middle. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick54 Rnd2 Donovan Ezeiruaku
A market-rate edge rusher, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Donovan Ezeiruaku. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick87 Rnd3 Cameron Williams
Cameron Williams at No. 87 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick124 Rnd4 Jacob Parrish
Jacob Parrish in slot 124 lands just on the right side of the ledger. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick159 Rnd5 Ty Robinson
They paid sticker price for Ty Robinson in Round 5, Pick 21, and that is fine. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick198 Rnd6 Isaac TeSlaa
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Isaac TeSlaa. It fills a real need, too.
Pick237 Rnd7 Jamon Dumas-Johnson
They jumped the gun on Jamon Dumas-Johnson, taking him earlier than his grade liked. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick250 Rnd7 John Williams
John Williams at the 250th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
