Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B+
ValueA- NeedB TradesB+ FutureB
A passer of the future in Manning, and a B+, for the Raiders.

The board owed the Raiders one, and it paid up: Cayden Green, the No. 44 name on the board, sitting there at the 107th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Arch Manning gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick7 Rnd1 Arch Manning
In Round 1, Pick 7 they get their guy under center for the next decade. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick41 Rnd2 Malik Muhammad
Malik Muhammad in No. 41 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick72 Rnd3 Makai Lemon
Taking Makai Lemon in pick 72 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick107 Rnd4 Cayden Green
Cayden Green at the 107th overall pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick146 Rnd5 Will Lee III
The board fumbled Will Lee III all the way to pick No. 146, and they scooped it up. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick166 Rnd5 Lee Hunter
Lee Hunter is a better player than the Round 5 slot suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick185 Rnd6 Xavier Nwankpa
Xavier Nwankpa at Round 6, Pick 9 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick220 Rnd7 Jaishawn Barham
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Jaishawn Barham in the 220th pick, plain and simple. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
