Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Shemar Turner at the 62nd overall pick is 23 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They will answer for taking cornerback early while linebacker, edge rusher and other spots went begging. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. On the needs board they went 4 of 9, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
