It is the swing that defines the weekend: Davin Vann in No. 216, a good 55 spots before the room expected him.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Landing Hampton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
