A respectable, level-headed haul for the 49ers: B-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The 49ers took TJ Ferguson a full 50 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They banked enough surplus on Moore to cover a lot of smaller sins. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
