The Broncos finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D-.

The Michael Pratt selection is the head-turner. The Broncos reached 36 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The whole projection now runs through Bo Nix; hit there and everything else looks smarter.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
