Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Panthers.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Panthers did exactly that with Tyler Batty in Round 4, Pick 12. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Belton. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
