The Packers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The phones were a trap the Packers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The cost of the Thornton Jr. reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Landing Harmon that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
