Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Cole Payton at the 199th overall pick is 37 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Miller steal is the beam this whole class leans on. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
