Call it larceny. Anthony Gould sat on the board until the Round 6 slot, and the Lions did not need to be asked twice. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
