The Steelers spent the pick that matters most on Shedeur Sanders, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Jackson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
