Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jarquez Hunter got past him. The Dolphins do not have to explain a thing at No. 224. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Phillips left real value on the table behind him. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
