The steal of the weekend belongs to the Lions and Bowers: B+.

Somebody in the Round 2 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Brock Bowers, the No. 6 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
