The 49ers lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

Somebody took the 49ers to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Winston Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with running back, quarterback and other spots still on the board.

Every board in the league had Williams lower, and that gap is the story. The Emmanwori pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.
