The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Walter Nolen slide 22 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. The bottom line is a respectable B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. They will need Powell-Ryland to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
