When a board-topper like Jonah Coleman slides to Round 4, Pick 33, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
