The 49ers robbed the room for Johnson. Final grade: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The 49ers shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. They are betting Conner proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Landing Johnson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.

In No. 11 they get a three-down runner, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.

Jalon Walker at pick No. 43 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

A tidy little value on Tate Ratledge in the Round 3 slot, a step better than break-even. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
