You can hear the double-takes from here. The 49ers took Trey Moore at Round 4, Pick 32, roughly 82 spots before his name belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

However the rest shakes out, Grimes at that price is a win they earned. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
