The Lions lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting Zinter proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 1 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
