The phones sank the Browns this weekend: C. There is conviction, and then there is this. The Browns took John Campbell Jr. a full 162 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Starks steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The Browns clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
