The Browns turned the phones into found money: B+. The war room fell hard for Mitchell Evans, and it showed at the 105th pick: 42 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Landing Moore that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
The Browns clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
