A costly weekend of dealing drags the Browns to a D+. The Browns looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Drew Kendall at Round 6, Pick 40 regardless, 78 picks early. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Browns indulged a want in Carter while a need in edge rusher stayed open.
However the rest shakes out, Starks at that price is a win they earned.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
