This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Walter Nolen, the No. 21 name on the board, stolen at the Round 2 slot.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
